Indie Cinema - Waiting For Guffman

In Christopher Guest's cult-classic and deliciously awkward black comedy, the town of Blaine, Missouri is preparing for celebrations for it's 150th anniversary. Corky St.Clair, an off-off-off-off-off-Broadway director puts together an am-dram show about the town's history, starring a local dentist, a couple of travel agents, a Dairy Queen waitress, and a car repairman, but when the learn that Broadway critic Mr. Guffman is coming to see the opening night, they get crazy looking to make a lasting impression.
