amazing events, fantastic culture projects, and good times
Who knew 12th century nuns were so, well, bitchin! The Little Hours doesn't pull any punches in this belly laughing romp through convent life and it's slightly dysfunctional inhabitants, as they fight, swear and lust their way through the summer of 1347.
After a chance encounter with the boozy but merciful Father Tommasso, young charmer and runaway Massetto finds refuge into his convent's sanctuary, on one condition: to pretend he is a deaf-mute. However, Massetto's tempting presence upsets the already wobbly balance of things for the sexually-repressed females, as nun after nun desperately seeks an escape from their tedious way of life.
